NCIS Help Desk Analyst Tier 1 | Active Secret clearance

Job Overview Help Desk Analyst Tier 1 – Transform technology into opportunity. Located at Quantico, VA, supporting the IT Technology Development division within the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) at GDIT. Responsibilities Initiate and resolve service requests and problem incidents. Consult the user community to resolve technical problems and answer queries by telephone or self‑service ticket. Support internal and, when required, external customers on computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems using historical database records. Route calls to product‑line specialists, application, or system support specialists. Maintain and update records and tracking databases. Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Work with system administrators and developers to ensure services/incidents are completed. Provide an outstanding customer‑service experience in a variety of circumstances across all organizational levels. Qualifications Active Secret clearance (must currently possess and be able to obtain). US citizenship required. Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a Help Desk environment. Experience working with Cisco switches and routers. Security+ CE certification preferred. High School Diploma required; an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) preferred.
