Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position involves minimal direct student instruction, focusing instead on maintaining IEP compliance and tracking IEP goals for a homeschool-based virtual program. Your expertise will ensure every student’s educational needs are carefully monitored and met, empowering families and students in a home learning environment.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State certification in Special Education is required.
• Prior experience managing IEP documents and compliance processes for K-8 students.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to accurately monitor and update IEP goals.
• Adept with online platforms and comfortable supporting families and staff remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee IEP development, documentation, and compliance for all students enrolled in the online homeschool program.
• Coordinate with families and staff virtually to ensure timely IEP meetings and updates.
• Monitor student progress in relation to IEP goals, and update documentation as needed.
• Maintain accurate records to meet state and program compliance standards.
• Collaborate with support staff and counselors remotely as necessary to facilitate services.
