Per Diem Pharmacist in Toledo, OR

A retail and long-term care facility in Newport, OR is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for per diem shifts. This role focuses on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and customer service in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Location:

• Newport, OR (51 SW Lee St Rm 140)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, February 23 - 27, 2026
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)

Responsibilities:

• Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners accurately and efficiently
• Provide clear information and guidance to customers on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain record accuracy
• Deliver a superior level of customer service to patients and healthcare teams

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction
