A retail and long-term care facility in Newport, OR, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for per diem shifts. This role involves distributing prescribed medications, providing detailed information to patients about their medications, and delivering excellent customer service within a busy healthcare environment.

• Newport, OR

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, February 23-27, 2026
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professional communication
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety procedures in medication management

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacist License required
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred

• Ability to work independently and efficiently during assigned shifts
