Job Summary: Tryfacta is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Biller for our client in Roseville, CA 95661. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, Position Title: Retail Pharmacy Biller Location: Roseville, CA 95661 Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extension) Work Schedule: Day Shift, M-F 8am-5pm Pay rate: $26 - $32/hr. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Ensure accurate and timely billing for pharmacy-related services. Prepare and submit pharmacy billing claims to insurance providers. Review financial statements and identify payment inconsistencies or billing errors. Post charges and payments accurately and ensure all billing entries are compliant. Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and other billing documentation. Track and process insurance claims from submission through payment. Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims to maximize reimbursement. Work with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies. Monitor billing procedures and systems to support compliance and operational efficiency. Support pharmacy-related billing programs, initiatives, and reporting. Prepare daily deposits for payments received. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience] High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred. Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred. Up to 5 years of relevant billing experience preferred. Experience with or familiarity with pharmacy terminology and coding standards. Knowledge of NCPDP, HCPCS, and ICD-10 preferred. Experience with pharmacy billing, insurance claims processing, and reimbursement preferred. Experience investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and claim denials. Retail Pharmacy Billing Certificate (RPBC) preferred. Completion of a retail pharmacy billing training course preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.
