Job Description Location: Philadelphia, PA 19145 Date Posted: 9/10/2024 Category: Addictions Education: Master’s Degree One of our clients is seeking a Drug & Alcohol Therapist to provide SUD & co-occurring services in the greater Philadelphia area. Responsibilities Provide assessment services as needed; determine proper level of care. Provide aftercare planning services. Maintain an active caseload of patients. Deliver therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Maintain required patient records including treatment plans, group and individual progress notes, and case management notes. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited university or bachelor's degree with equivalent experience. Licensure and certification or in process preferred (LPC, LSW, LCSW, CAADC, CADC, CAAD, AAC, CAAC, CCS) encouraged. Minimum of one year experience working with mental health & psychiatric populations. Experience must include one (1) year of direct work experience with psychiatric, mental health and/or co-occurring patients (MH & ADD). Valid Driver's License. Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126) & State Criminal Background.
