This county jail provides specialized psychiatric services for adult inmates requiring mental health treatment in a secure correctional environment. The facility maintains behavioral health programs with dedicated resources for psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Clinical services are delivered on-site within an established forensic care framework designed to support effective treatment for inmates presenting with various mental health conditions.

New Jersey offers a range of regional attractions suited to diverse interests, including the Atlantic City Boardwalk, wolf preserves, and nature and wildlife tours. The state hosts events such as food truck festivals, jazz festivals, county fairs, outdoor concerts, and rodeos throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may also explore garden tours, museum exhibitions, and beach activities along the Jersey Shore.

The psychiatrist will provide specialized psychiatric care for adult male and female inmates in an outpatient correctional setting, seeing 10-15 patients per day in a dedicated mental health office. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing psychotropic medications for forensic patients requiring outpatient mental health treatment. The clinician will work part-time day shifts totaling 16 hours per week, with no call requirements associated with this assignment.
