This county jail provides specialized psychiatric services for adult inmates requiring mental health treatment in a secure correctional environment. The facility maintains behavioral health programs with dedicated resources for psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Clinical services are delivered on-site within an established forensic care framework designed to support effective treatment for the patient population served.

The psychiatrist will provide specialized outpatient forensic psychiatric care for adult male and female inmates in a correctional setting, seeing 10-15 patients per day in a dedicated mental health office. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing psychotropic medications for forensic patients requiring outpatient mental health treatment. The clinician will work part-time day shifts totaling 16 hours per week on-site. No call requirements are associated with this assignment.
