This hospital in northern New Jersey provides inpatient and emergency department psychiatric services for an adult population on a weekend call coverage basis. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and support staff to ensure continuity of psychiatric care delivery. A locum tenens psychiatrist is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis to meet the clinical needs of the population served.

New Jersey offers a range of regional experiences suited to varied interests. The state includes scenic destinations such as Hunterdon County, known for its wineries, breweries, and farm-fresh dining, as well as coastal areas like Ocean City and Wildwood, which feature boardwalks and family-oriented attractions. Cultural draws including zoos, museums, and walkable areas, along with urban dining options in cities such as Jersey City and Montclair, provide clinicians on assignment with accessible year-round activities throughout the region.

The psychiatrist will provide inpatient and ED psychiatric coverage on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, serving adult patients across inpatient units and the emergency department. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for the adult population served. Call coverage is required as part of this assignment. Support staff are available to assist clinicians throughout the coverage period.
