Adult and geriatric

Patient Volume:

12-25 outpatient visits per day; 2-8 hospital patients per day

Clinical Focus:

Approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology

Physician Job Requirements

At least 1 year of Hematology/Oncology physician experience required Board Certified in Medical Oncology required Board Certification in Hematology highly preferred Active Virginia physician license required BLS certification required Ability to provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Comfort treating adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care for adult and geriatric patients Manage both clinic-based and hospital-based patient care responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions Conduct follow-up visits, treatment monitoring, and ongoing disease management Document patient encounters accurately in Epic Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support high-quality patient outcomes Maintain compliance with clinical standards, credentialing requirements, and facility protocols
