Senior Advisor Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Kansas City Metro Area; remote candidates considered for the right fit) Type: Full Time Salary: $150,000–$200,000 base salary + performance‑based incentives, potential for long‑term incentive compensation Role Overview This position is not a traditional advisor role. The Senior Advisor works directly with firm leadership, participates in client meetings, and helps elevate client experience and advisor capability without bringing in clients or managing a team. What You'll Do Participate in client meetings alongside advisors and firm leadership Help guide conversations, refine recommendations, and build client confidence Support advisors in preparing for meetings and thinking through complex situations Provide real‑time coaching and feedback to developing advisors Model best practices in communication, organization, and client service Support and reinforce follow‑through and coordination between meetings What You Won't Do Business development and client acquisition Managing or supervising advisors Taking over client relationships independently Operating completely independently without team integration Who You Are 15+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management CFP® professional Strong client presence—calm, confident, and thoughtful High emotional intelligence and low ego Highly organized and detail‑oriented Enjoy collaborative teamwork rather than independent work Take pride in helping others grow and succeed Additional Qualifications Proven leadership in fostering growth and development of colleagues Ability to step in and step back appropriately in client interactions Capacity to build trust with clients without owning the relationship Brings structure, clarity, and calm to complex situations Compensation Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 Performance‑based incentives Potential for long‑term incentive compensation Location Kansas City Metro Area.
