This is a hands-on role for someone with experience assembling small components who also has a strong eye for detail when it comes to cosmetic paint touch-up. You'll be working on small parts, ensuring both the assembly and final appearance meet strict quality standards prior to inspection. This role includes small-part assembly, light soldering, adhesive bonding, and precision paint touch-up to correct minor surface imperfections. It's ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in clean, consistent work, and is comfortable handling detailed, repetitive tasks. Apply now!Key Responsibilities:Assemble small electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and work instructionsPerform detailed paint touch-up to correct minor cosmetic defects and ensure parts meet visual quality standardsRemove masking materials and prepare parts for final inspectionVisually inspect parts for surface quality, color consistency, and overall workmanshipPerform light soldering on small, detailed componentsMix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processesRead and follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating proceduresMaintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned by managementComply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety DirectorRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience assembling small parts in a manufacturing setting (electronics or mechanical assembly preferred)Experience performing fine paint touch-up or cosmetic surface correction on partsExperience using hand tools and working with small, detailed componentsBasic soldering experience or willingness to learnExperience working with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materialsAbility to read and follow blueprints and work instructionsBasic computer skillsStrong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skillsHigh attention to detail and quality workmanshipPreferred but not required:Background in aerospace or electronic component manufacturingWhy You'll Love Working Here:We are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all 'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
