Job Title: Animal Technician

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking an Animal Technician - Washroom to support daily operations in a laboratory animal research facility.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain cage washing and sanitation equipment.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize animal cages, racks, bottles, and related equipment.
• Transport clean and soiled cages and supplies throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washroom and assigned work areas.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with inventory and other operational support duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Warehouse, janitorial, housekeeping, or other cleaning/sanitation experience is preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a laboratory animal research environment.
