About the Role

The Company is seeking a Lead Business Architect for a strategic finance technology transformation program. This multi-year initiative is focused on modernizing core finance platforms and redesigning the finance operating model. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the target state business architecture in critical finance domains, including accounting engines, general ledger, financial close, data substantiation, and reconciliation. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the finance function, requiring the translation of strategic goals into a coherent business blueprint. The Lead Business Architect will also be involved in process mapping, design of business blueprints, championing data and controls, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology. Applicants must have a proven track record in a strategic role within the financial services industry, with deep functional knowledge of core finance and accounting processes. Extensive experience in business transformation programs, particularly those involving a migration to a SaaS-based ERP or accounting platform, is essential. The role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and ensuring that the target architecture meets critical business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data flows, data governance principles, and the critical data elements required for financial control and reporting in a regulated environment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in solutions architecture.
