Location(s):Penn Hills Township Elementary School located at 1079 Jefferson Rd Pittsburgh PA 15235 Pay: $17.00Hours: Monday through Friday am shift 7am-9am PM Shift 3pm-6pmLooking for experience that matters? AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.As an AlphaBEST Group Leader you'll help shape meaningful after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.We're looking for an early learning professional who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentTakes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactionsMake child safety the top priority at all timesKeep the space clean and organizedHelp create an environment where kids feel supported and includedBuild strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staffRequirements:A GROUP LEADER SHALL HAVE ATTAINED ONE OF THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS BELOWA group supervisor shall have attained one of the following qualificationlevels:(1) A CDA or a associate's degree from an accredited college or university in earlychildhood education, child development, special education, elementaryeducationor the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.(2) An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, specialeducation, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years ofexperience with children.CPR and First Aid certification requiredAbility to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)This isn't just a job - it's your next step forward.At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
