About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to take on a pivotal, executive role that transcends traditional development positions. The CRO will be tasked with the comprehensive responsibility of unifying and integrating all revenue streams into a single, accountable strategy. This includes philanthropy, corporate partnerships, earned income, and memberships. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and lead a multi-year, multi-stream revenue strategy, own the annual revenue budget, and work closely with the CFO on financial planning. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the CRO will also be the primary external face for funding relationships, bringing a spirit of joy, confidence, and clarity to all interactions. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in progressive revenue leadership, with a proven track record in major gifts, corporate partnerships, and earned income. The role requires a leader with strong relationship-building skills, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to lead high-performing teams. Experience in direct sales, sales management, and a background in product-based revenue programs are essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at data-driven decision-making, and have a strong interest in working within a structured management system. While not mandatory, experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations and familiarity with the EOS framework are preferred.
