This is an Hourly position. $16,000 Sign on Bonus OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. POSITION SUMMARY:
The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/ GED, Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. Must be ARRT eligible Licensure/ Certification: BLS American Heart Association; ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
