Job Summary

NEW NIGHT SHIFT STNA SHIFT DIFF!!!

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in East Palestine, Ohio. As an STNA on our night and day shift teams, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and innovative environment. About the Role

As an STNA at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for:

Providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital sign assessments, hygiene, and mobility assistance
Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure individualized care plans are implemented
Documenting patient care and progress accurately and efficiently

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing dignity, respect, and compassion
Support the healthcare team in delivering individualized care plans, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experiences and outcomes
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

Currently certified or eligible to become certified as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state of Ohio
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients of varying weights and sizes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Willingness to work night and day shifts, including weekends and holidays
