Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryThe Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation troubleshooting skills and be capable of performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment.Experience in plastic injection molding, medical device manufacturing, polymer processing, or precision manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Candidates should have a working knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other regulated manufacturing standards, as well as experience supporting equipment validation, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with industrial robotics, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), PLC-controlled equipment, servo motors, VFDs, compressors, vacuum systems, and process cooling systems is strongly desired.The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, read electrical schematics and technical drawings, and maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for injection molds, hot runner systems, chillers, cooling towers, and automated production equipment is preferred. A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and production uptime is essential.Qualifications:*RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentNice to have: Associates degree in a related field or equivalent training; two to four years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics as well as welding fabrication, plumbing, HVAC, blueprint reading, basic PLC knowledge, compressors and vacuum systems.Additional Technical SkillsPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding machines, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.Knowledge of industrial automation systems, sensors, drives, and motor controls.Experience with servo motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and control circuits.Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V three-phase power.Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis and thermal imaging.Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work order tracking and preventive maintenance scheduling.Knowledge of industrial safety systems, machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and OSHA requirements.Experience supporting cleanroom, medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.Experience with compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, vacuum systems, and process utilities.Basic fabrication and machining skills including use of lathes, mills, grinders, and welding equipment.Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement methodologies.Soft Skills & Professional CompetenciesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritize repairs in a fast-paced production environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Commitment to safety, quality, and production uptime.Continuous learning mindset and willingness to cross-train on new equipment and technologies.Schedule:12-hour shifts from either 7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

12-hour shifts are on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule; 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working. Work 3 days one week and 4 days next week – have every other weekend off!
