Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol in Little Rock, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and the agile, reliable, innovative service Allied Universal is known for.

- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or operational concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
