Senior HVAC Specialist – $30/hr W2 – Glendale – 3 Openings
SunSoft Online is hiring 3 Senior HVAC Specialists for a community college in Glendale, AZ.
Pay: $30.00/hr W2
Schedule: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 40 hours/week, varied weekends
Location: Glendale, AZ 85302, 100% onsite
Assignment: September 14–December 31, 2026
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
- Work with chillers, compressors, motors, fans, valves, belts, piping, and controls
- Troubleshoot live high-voltage control circuits
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify leaks or equipment defects
- Cut, thread, bend, weld, and braze tubing and piping
- Operate computerized energy/building management systems
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
- Provide lead support to HVAC and maintenance staff
- Assist with emergency repairs
- Estimate materials and coordinate with vendors
- EPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalent
- 3–5 years of HVAC experience
- High school diploma
- Ability to work in confined spaces and tight crawl spaces
- Experience with Metasys, BMS, VAS, building automation, or similar energy-management systems
- In-person interview required
- Must be available to start within two weeks of an offer
- HireRight background check and drug screening required
