About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to take the lead in its financial operations, planning, reporting, and performance management. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating a robust financial operating system that delivers timely and accurate information, as well as actionable insights to the leadership team. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, operational analytics, and providing financial decision support to enable executives to concentrate on business management. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, policies, and financial processes, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance at the company include leading the monthly close process, preparing and presenting financial statements, and providing meaningful insights to support decision-making. The role requires a professional with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and advanced credentials such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience is essential, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, particularly in a growing organization, and experience in healthcare, medical services, DME, or multi-location operations is also desirable. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to translate financial data into business insights are key qualifications for this position.
