The Greer Group is hiring dependable Assembly and Machine Operators for excellent manufacturing opportunities in the Asheville and Canton area!

Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience is a plus—but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

These are full-time, temp-to-hire positions with competitive pay, weekly paychecks, overtime opportunities, great schedules, and the opportunity to join the company permanently after 90 days .

Pay & Schedule

• $19.50–$22.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Full-time hours
• Temp-to-hire after 90 days
• Overtime opportunities available
• Multiple shifts available
• 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Monday–Thursday and Monday–Friday schedules

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the position and department, job duties may include:

• Inspecting parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Assembling components and finished products according to work instructions
• Operating manufacturing and production equipment
• Labeling, packaging, and preparing finished parts for shipment
• Following detailed work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures
• Using hand tools and small power tools
• Working with cutting tools, rivet guns, screwdrivers, glue guns, and other assembly equipment
• Performing basic quality checks and reporting defects or issues
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production goals
