Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Orientation: Week 1 will be conducted in Euless

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to support an outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and patient check-in/check-out processes.

The role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate outpatient healthcare appointments.
• Obtain and manage insurance authorizations.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Provide accurate and timely scheduling support.
• Coordinate appointment and authorization requirements with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
• Maintain accurate patient and scheduling information.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, insurance, and related requirements.
• Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient healthcare clinic experience within the past 3 years – Required .
• Previous experience with:
  • Healthcare scheduling
  • Insurance authorizations
  • Insurance verification
  • Patient check-in/check-out
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.
