Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Project Manager in West Mifflin, PA. An active DOE L clearance (or DOD equivalent) is required to be considered for this position. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet. Our company is looking for a Project Manager member to join our Shipping Container (SC) team. The Project Manager member will assist the SC Subdivision managers and engineers in project management and business support activities. Responsibilities will also include developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules and resource estimates, as well as reports, statusing and reporting schedule and cost performance. Additionally, the Project Manager may support project management and business activities of the greater Reactor Servicing organization. Responsibilities Assist the SC Subdivision managers and engineers in project management and business support activities. Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and resource estimates. Prepare reports and status updates; communicate schedule and cost performance. Support project management and business activities of the greater Reactor Servicing organization. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 or similar project management software Experience managing engineering projects and developing schedules Database development and management Strong written and verbal communication skills Requirements Minimum four year degree in engineering/science, business, or project management, or another project related or technical field Microsoft Office Project planning and estimating Technical writing and reports An active DOE L Clearance (or DOD equivalent) Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
