Job Details A well-established professional services firm is seeking a detail-oriented Client Bookkeeper / Tax Associate to join our close-knit and collaborative team. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with business clients on a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and financial review functions in a relaxed and supportive office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and assisting with tax return preparation for individuals and businesses. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working with clients, maintaining organized financial records, and supporting accounting and forensic review projects. Responsibilities: Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple business clients Review, clean up, and maintain client records in QuickBooks Prepare and post adjusting journal entries and trial balances Assist with financial statement analysis and accounting reviews Support business valuation and forensic accounting projects Prepare exhibits and supporting documentation for forensic reviews and legal matters Assist with preparation of individual and business tax returns, including returns related to divorce and other financial proceedings Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial reporting Maintain organized client documentation and provide responsive client support Qualifications: Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred Understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines Professional communication skills and client-focused mindset Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Interested in hearing more?
