Vice President Wealth Custody Strategy & PartnershipsThe Vice President will report into the Wealth Services Head of Strategy & Partnerships for Custody. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of strategy and execution activities for the business, including:Supporting the growth strategy for a substantial, market-leading Wealth Custody offering by driving strategic and business development initiativesContributing to the strategic and operating planning processes in partnership with business leadersConducting regular market and competitive research to build a market leading view of the global Wealth Custody partnership ecosystemIdentifying strategic partners and working with enterprise M&A teams to evaluate minority investment and acquisition opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional leadership across the business including compliance, risk, and business teams to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of informationSupport the head of the department in finalizing contractual arrangementsCollaborate and reach alignment across internal business, third party partners, and consultantsDrive joint and internal governance with internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring active issue management and facilitating required decision making are critical to the rolePlan and execute business development initiatives in close collaboration with senior management and product managementWhat We ValueIdeal Competencies & ExperienceProven record of supporting M&A transactions and transaction experience in crafting strategic alliances, partnerships, and investmentsExposure to the wealth management servicing industry with proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends into actionable strategyExtensive experience in modelling Pro Forma financials reflecting revenue and cost implications of strategic partnerships being evaluatedPartnering effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituentsAbility to deliver across complex multi-functional projectsA customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challengesStrong strategic and analytical acumen, capable of translating vision into actionable business plans that drives measurable resultsResults-oriented, with an unwavering commitment to delivering client success and performance excellenceInnovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate market trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edgeSkills / Qualifications:Undergraduate degree minimum and graduate degree / MBA preferred7+ years of related experience preferably within the Financial Services industryTop-tier investment banking, business development, or corporate development experience preferred, particularly with exposure to wealth management or wealth custody industryConsulting experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous priorities and initiativesStrong delivery focused mindset; ability to work on multiple initiatives in parallel, thinking both tactically and strategicallyOutstanding verbal and written communicationsSuperb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issuesCritical assessment capability – ability to maintain a very high bar and deliver excellence in work productsSalary Range:$110,000 - $207,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
