Position Summary Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.Work you'll doAs a Project - Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Operations Transformation team, you will: The Project Senior Consultant provides direct support to the Air Force A4SF Directorate, advancing enterprise-level training policy, workforce development, and operational planning across the Security Forces career field. This role delivers strategic analysis, facilitates governance processes, and drives the development and refinement of officer and enlisted training pathways. The consultant partners with senior client leadership, functional experts, and cross-directorate stakeholders to resolve complex issues, strengthen readiness, and ensure alignment with evolving operational requirements and Air Force priorities.Research, draft, and refine enterprise training policy, guidance memoranda, and governance documents.· Analyze impacts of emerging requirements on training pipelines and recommend policy adjustments.· Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to diagnose workforce, training, and operational challenges.· Provide daily operational support to the Training Branch, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuity of operations.· Coordinate and facilitate governance activities across oversight bodies.· Track decisions, align stakeholders, and develop materials (executive summaries, roadmaps, POAMs) to support informed decision-making.· Support the design and refinement of development pathways, including training standards, competencies, and career-spanning learning models.· Collaborate with career field leadership to address alignment issues between officer and enlisted roles and training requirements.· Lead and support high-visibility special projects directed by the clients leadership, including modernization efforts, program evaluation, and long-range planning.· Develop recommendations that advance mission readiness, streamline processes, and improve the training continuum.· Prepare and brief senior leaders on training initiatives, findings, and strategic recommendations.A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. This compensation range is specific to Virginia into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
