Finance, Practice Management and Leadership Coordinator Position Number: 500671 Full Time or Part Time: Part Time Anticipated Recruitment Range: $35,000 - $40,000 Position Type: Non-Faculty Job Category: Non-Faculty Instructional & Research Organizational Unit Overview: The School of Dental Medicine is composed of ten administrative offices and four academic departments. The organization supports dental care providers and addresses oral health needs of rural populations by operating clinics in Greenville, NC, and community service‑learning centers across North Carolina. Responsibilities: 40% Presenting and leading sessions for first-, second-, and third-year students on topics including financial literacy, personal finance, business foundations, debt and wealth management, strategic planning, and business plan development. 30% Coordinating and curating presentations by invited speakers on practice leadership, practice financial management, principles of practice success, legal and regulatory concepts, and transition planning. 10% Coordinating, supporting, and evaluating third‑year dental students' business plan preparation and presentations, including developing the year‑long Practice Management curriculum, strengthening students' knowledge of educational debt and dental practice economics, and guiding CSLC Business Managers. 10% Coordinating and evaluating D4 students' CSLC reflections related to finance, practice management and leadership. 10% Interfacing with School of Dental Medicine faculty and Community Service Learning Center Business Managers to reinforce the dental practice curriculum in comprehensive care clinics and CSLCs. Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related field; or DMD/DDS; or a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or related field with two years of relevant experience. Additional three years of experience in financial administration and management (including dental practice) and/or banking. Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Experience with business operations in a dental practice or health care setting. Experience in a university setting, educating and working with professional school students. Excellent computer skills. EEO Statement.
