Lead Information Security Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity and information security industry, is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to join their team. As a Lead Information Security Analyst, you will be part of the Governance team supporting strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: IAM Governance Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Lead analysis of IAM governance processes, controls, metrics, and risk indicators to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and emerging risks. Develop executive-ready communications, presentations, reporting, and recommendations that clearly articulate governance outcomes, risks, and priorities. Evaluate governance effectiveness and recommend enhancements to controls, monitoring coverage, performance metrics, and operating routines. Drive modernization initiatives focused on automation, AI-enabled capabilities, workflow optimization, and reduction of manual governance activities. Create and maintain governance playbooks, procedures, operating models, and implementation plans that support scalable execution. What's Needed? Experience in IAM, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, or Controls functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into meaningful insights and recommendations. Demonstrated experience assessing controls, metrics, risk indicators, governance processes, or operational effectiveness. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including development of executive-facing presentations, reporting, and briefing materials. Proven project management and execution experience, including managing complex initiatives, dependencies, stakeholders, and deliverables. What's in it for me?
