Lead Information Security Analyst

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to join the BISO organization.We are back in the office collaborating for greater outcomes! This role is a hybrid role and in the office three days a week and remote two days.There is no visa sponsorship or visa transfer for this role.We are looking for a strong security candidate that has worked with BISO's in the past or has been a BISO to help drive impact for this critical role. This is a role for an experienced cybersecurity professional who can identify meaningful risks, turn complex data into actionable insights, and confidently present risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders.This is not a developmental role. We are seeking someone who has already performed this type of work, understands cyber risk, and can quickly establish credibility with senior audiences.The focus of this role is assessing risk across Cybersecurity domains such as Application Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and AI Security. You will analyze data from multiple sources, identify trends and patterns, evaluate technologies and tools for potential security concerns, and communicate well-vetted risks to business and technology leaders.Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions through clear, data-driven recommendations.Your superpower is seeing trends and patterns where others cannot and building a compelling narrative, explaining your observations. You can build crisp, professional presentations that speak to the narrative, while anticipating senior stakeholder questions.In This Role, You WillAnalyze cybersecurity data to identify trends, patterns, emerging threats, and areas of risk.Evaluate risk across Cybersecurity domains.Assess technologies, tools, and platforms for potential security concerns and control gaps.Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards that translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations.Present cybersecurity risks and mitigation recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.Anticipate questions, defend findings, and influence decision-making through data-driven analysis.Partner across cybersecurity and technology teams to proactively reduce risk and strengthen security posture.Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous cyber risk-based improvement.Required Qualifications5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education1+ years’ experience in Power BIExperience in pulling and analyzing data and delivering executive presentationsDesired QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalentWell versed experience and knowledge across the cybersecurity domains.Demonstrate clear, articulate written and verbal communication.Experience having worked in financial services institutions.Job ExpectationsTravel up to 5% of the time.Posting End Date: 23 Sep 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
