Step into a rewarding contract experience supporting student success as an occupational therapist in a dynamic school-based setting near Detroit, MI. In this onsite role, you’ll be instrumental in providing services to a diverse caseload of approximately 30-40 students across multiple sites. The position requires dedication, adaptability, and a passion for empowering children through purposeful, therapeutic intervention.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current state licensure or eligibility as an occupational therapist
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload
• Clear communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Please note, COTA supervision is not available
• Able to remain onsite for the duration of the assignment

Position Details and Responsibilities:

• Full-time: 32.5 hours per week, contract through June 18, 2027
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ educational goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and ongoing communication with staff and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions as needed
• Rotate as required among multiple school locations
