Dental Office Front Desk Representative

More About The Role Greet and welcome patients, creating a great first impression. Manage front office duties: answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies. Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records. Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers. File patient insurance claims; follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits and explain coverage. Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivables. Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients. Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential. About Metro Dentalcare Join a 15‑person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. Salary: $23‑26/hour. Full‑time; benefit eligible. Minimum Qualifications Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Access to PHI necessary for performing job‑related functions; required to undergo HIPAA training and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience At least 1 year in a dental or medical setting. At least 1 year with insurance billing and accounts receivable. Experience with Dentrix or other dental software. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
