Anesthesiologist

Position Summary We are seeking a board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist for an anesthesia opportunity at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. The position is employed through West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (SMG) and will be based in a 300‑bed non‑profit hospital with 15 operating rooms and 5 endoscopy suites. Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia for comprehensive surgical services, including regional anesthesia programs. Medical direction of CRNAs. Support a growing regional anesthesia program. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in anesthesia. Excellent interpersonal, diagnostic and clinical skills. Compensation and Benefits Base salary up to $570,000 plus productivity incentive. Comprehensive health benefits provided by WVU Medicine. 403B retirement match program with optional 457B plan. 9 weeks paid time off. Short‑term disability plan covering 100% base salary for up to 6 months. Significant recruitment incentives with an initial multi‑year contract. Employment Details Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
