Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts, Saturday through Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (R), SCRQSA (CT)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Epic charting system experience required; Sectra used for PACS
• Scrub color: Black and/or Teal
• Free parking with pass distributed at start
• Perform abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, and vascular CT exams without and/or with contrast
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Operate one Siemens CT scanner, two Shimadzu portable X-ray machines, and one GE X-ray room
• Work with Sectra PACS system
• Handle ED, inpatient, and outpatient exams
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 40 patients
• Must be able to produce high-quality special imaging with minimal supervision
• Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills required include isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, preparation and administration of contrast media, and starting peripheral IVs

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 75-bed facility offering emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient imaging services. The radiology department is supported by modern imaging equipment and a multidisciplinary team environment. The facility serves a diverse patient population and maintains high standards for imaging quality and patient care across multiple modalities.
