CT Technologist

Position Overview

This position is for a skilled CT Technologist who will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and supporting patient care in a clinical environment. The role specifically involves working with computed tomography (CT) and X-Ray technologies.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (Saturday to Monday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, as part of the scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-ray examinations to ensure high-quality imagery for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain and properly operate imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in CT is required.
• Certifications:
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT (R) (CT)
  • SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• Additional Requirements: Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers.

Miscellaneous

• Travel Requirements: No floating between units or facilities is expected.
• Local Candidates: Local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off one shift every two weeks.
• Parking: Free parking available with a pass, provided at the start date.
