Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range Test Facilities Base. Responsibilities You will ensure management and handling of communications security (COMSEC) material complies with current operational procedures, directives, and guidelines. You will provide assistance in defining, planning, developing, and administering procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain an effective and efficient carcass tracking system. You will develop and provide analytical data in the form of reports, charts, and graphs. You will recommend action and compliance in support of program goals and objectives, organizational structure, and internal operating instructions and procedures for the Carcass Tracking Branch to the supervisor. You will provide data to supervisors, NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS), and internal or external customers as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting logistical and supply support. Examples of specialized experience should include some or all the following: 1) Knowledge of supply policies and procedures related to material management; 2) Ability to review data using automated systems and reports; 3) Ability to ensure the management and handling of material complies with current producers, directives, and guidelines; 4) Ability to apply and interpret established manufacturing terminology, data, standards, policies, and instructions to ensure timely delivery of material to customers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
