Playa seeks cook to work our tortilla station and plancha
Playa, located in the heart of Mill Valley, is a modern Mexican restaurant using locally sourced, organic, and sustainable ingredients. We are seeking a tortilla cook to join our team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute dishes to a high standard. Experience working with fresh masa is a plus.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Candidates should have a positive attitude & understand the importance of working as a team.
Responsibilities include :
- Cooking and preparing all menu items following standards set by the Chef
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment

Playa, ubicado en el corazón de Mill Valley, es un restaurante mexicano moderno que utiliza ingredientes locales, orgánicos y sostenibles. Estamos buscando un cocinero de tortillas para unirse a nuestro equipo. Trabajarás de cerca con el Chef Ejecutivo y el Sous Chef para ejecutar los platos con altos estándares. Tener experiencia trabajando con masa fresca es un plus.
Debe poder trabajar fines de semana y días festivos. Buscamos candidatos con actitud positiva y que entiendan la importancia del trabajo en equipo.
Responsabilidades incluyen:
• Cocinar y preparar todos los platos del menú siguiendo los estándares establecidos por el Chef
• Mantener niveles adecuados de producto en la línea
• Mantener un área de trabajo limpia y sanitaria
