About the Job

The Sourcing Coordinator is an entry-level contributor who will be responsible for supporting the Sourcing team in various tasks, including vendor communication, data management, and administrative support. This role will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations within the sourcing function.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Convert Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders utilizing the SAP system.
• Input and update information in sourcing databases or systems.
• Track and monitor order status, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Facilitate communication with other Dal-Tile locations and suppliers, respond to inquiries, and obtain necessary information.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely, accurate exchange of information..
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining data related to supplier performance, pricing, and product specifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and manage purchase orders.
• Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 0-2 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Competencies:

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with SAP is recommended.
