Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant

Assist patients with physical exercises and activities to improve mobility and manage pain
Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the physical therapist
Prepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness to ensure patient safety
Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy routines

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant

Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
CPR certification
