Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Join our team as a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), where you will work alongside occupational therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with evaluations to assess patients' physical and functional abilities under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Help develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, focusing on improving daily living skills.
• Implement treatment plans by guiding patients through exercises and activities designed to enhance their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, grooming, or eating.
• Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the occupational therapist, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on using adaptive equipment and performing exercises independently to maintain or improve their functional abilities.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in skilled nursing facilities where COTAs work closely with patients requiring rehabilitation support to achieve independence.
