Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Traverse City seeking experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and finished goods.
• Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing products according to customer specifications and shipping regulations.
• Maintain organized inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks, with valid certification preferred
• Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various types of forklifts.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanners and warehouse management software (WMS).
