We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site medical care in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting in Edison. This role is ideal for an NP who wants autonomy, a predictable schedule, and the ability to focus on patient care without hospital burnout.

This position offers strong clinical support, flexible compensation models, and a manageable patient load.

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and follow-up medical care to skilled nursing and short-term rehab residents

• Perform comprehensive assessments, exams, and medication management

• Manage acute and chronic conditions

• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests

• Prescribe medications within scope of practice

• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

• Participate in care planning and quality initiatives

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license

• DEA registration

• Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid billing

• Skilled nursing, post-acute, geriatrics, or primary care experience preferred

• Newer NPs considered with strong clinical background

• Comfortable working independently with physician support available
