Lia Hyundai Albany - Automotive Service Technician(s)- Level A and Level A+

Lia Hyundai Albany is seeking a Level A/A+ level Automotive Technician to join our team. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $60K-$100K+

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $5000 if Hyundai Platinum Certified

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of Service Technician experience required Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience required State Inspection certification required Any Hyundai training or certifications preferred ASE Certification recommended Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications Computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have clean & valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
