- Prepare and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment following established procedures.
- Operate sterilization equipment to ensure instruments meet safety and sterilization requirements.
- Inspect and assemble surgical trays and instrument sets for sterilization readiness.
- Track and document instrument processing activities in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the sterile processing area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation for compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience.
- Valid California license must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
- Certification through CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA required.
- Must have recent references from within the past year, with supervisor or higher.
- FLU VACCINE required without exemptions.
- No pending or temporary licensure accepted; only active permits.
