Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00 - $40.00 per hour , depending on experience
• Built-in overtime opportunities with annual earnings typically ranging from $65,500 - $87,000+

Position Overview

The Process Technician is responsible for supporting all technical aspects of the production floor, including machine changeovers, process troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and quality assurance. This hands-on role plays a key part in maintaining production efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring products meet quality and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine changeovers and start-ups from last good part to first acceptable part in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on molds, electric and hydraulic molding machines, support equipment, inspection systems, and downstream equipment
• Monitor production processes and machine settings to ensure compliance with manufacturing process standards
• Verify product quality and ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements
• Perform daily and weekly process checks and equipment inspections
• Issue maintenance requests and red tags as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, scrap, and production waste
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
• Assist engineering with sample runs and process development activities
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs
• Follow all OSHA, ISO, FDA, cGMP, and company safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, military, or a related technical field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
• Technical school, trade school, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
