Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.You will support the Corporate Security ExecutiveProtection team by planning, coordinating, andexecuting personal protection for senior Lockheed Martin Executives. Often on call beyond normalworking hours in the protection and transportation ofsenior executives and visitors to and from LockheedMartin facilities, meetings, and special events. Mayuse force of arms to carry out the mission andrequires special State Police Commission to includeapplicable weapons permits. May perform emergencymedical response. Performs advance tripplanning/coordination with law enforcement agenciesand other groups for executive visits for both domesticand international travel. The applicant will be subjectto a government security investigation and must meetthe eligibility requirements to obtain a U.S. securityclearance. Possess or be able to obtain a Marylandand VA Special Police Commission and concealedweapon permits.Basic Qualifications5+ years experience in providing close protection and advance trip planning/coordination- Effective verbal communication skills.- Extensive knowledge of the Washington, DC metroarea.- Tactical driving capabilities.- Experience in dealing with workplace violence.- Ability to work long hours and travel both CONUSand OCONUS- Experience in working in a corporate environment.- Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision.- Familiarity with home security systems.Desired SkillsAED/CPR CertifiedFirearms expertSmall protective detail experienceFormal Executive Protection training certificate Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
