Global Guardian is an investor-backed, high-growth company that offers employees growth opportunities within the organization.Position Summary and Objective The Corporate Protection Officer will provide professional, static security services at a corporate office in Washington, D.C. This role is responsible for securing the primary point of entry, maintaining a safe and controlled environment, and delivering a high level of customer service to employees and visitors. The agent serves as the first line of defense and first impression of the organization - requiring a balance of security expertise, situational awareness, and professional presence. Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.Effectively managing office staff to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment.Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures and security gaps.Assist with intelligence and other duties within the office.All other duties, as assigned.Competencies and AttributesStrong customer service mindset with a professional, polished demeanor.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations.High level of situational awareness and attention to detail.Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage difficult individualsReliable, punctual, and capable of working independentlyStrong integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.Qualifications and Education5+ years of security experience (corporate, high-end, or executive protection environments preferred).Experience in access control, front desk security, or corporate environments strongly preferred.DLCP Guard Permit (Required).DLCP Armed Card (Preferred).D.C. Concealed Permit (CCW) (Preferred).High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.Position Type, Schedule and SalaryRegular Full-Time (RFT), non-exempt position.Monday through Friday.8-hour shifts (daytime coverage).Salary: $45.00 per hour.Located in Washington, D.C.Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Professional Standards Reasonable accommodation requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively.
