Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for leading the design, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders by consulting on complex business requirements and delivering scalable, technology-enabled solutions. The Sr. HRIS Analyst owns advanced system configuration, business process design, reporting and analytics, data management, and integration coordination with vendors and IT partners.

Partnering closely with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners, the Sr. HRIS Analyst analyzes and documents current and future-state processes, drives system optimization initiatives, and ensures best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners and technical teams to gather and define requirements, provide recommendations through a consultative approach, document changes for change control purposes, design and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.
  • Configure and implement business process upgrades and enhancements, lead testing and data validation, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives.
  • Support all COE related activities within Workday, including all change and enhancement requests related to plans and eligibility configuration, business processes, reporting, EIBs, testing, and deployment to production.
  • Create, review and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance-including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
  • Identify the communication of changes and benefits to end users required to support changes.
  • Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes developing project plans with key milestones and deliverables, leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project deadlines.
  • Well versed with Workday Community and the Feature Releases, preparing for, and implementing new features and enhancements that benefit the organization.
  • Train internal HR operations team members as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in HRIS systems
  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience with COE related configuration and administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR data, processes, and lifecycle.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest Workday products and features
  • Experience understanding how all Workday modules work together, specifically, HR, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Time Tracking.
  • Must be able to work independently or collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Very well organized, high attention to detail, with logical problem-solving skills and must be able to maintain the confidentiality of employee information.
  • Ability to summarize technical information into easy-to-understand content.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt's safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60
