Job TitleA producer-owned pork processor, comprised of 200 dedicated Midwest family farms, focused on providing customers with quality pork products they can trust, in a culture that fosters innovation and opportunity.This position will provide support for the organization's costing, production and inventory management functions.Education, Licensure and ExperienceAssociate's/Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferredHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principlesData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareWillingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate, maintain and publish daily standard costs using various markets & costing sourcesWork cross functionally to create and maintain standard yield and labor costs for new and existing itemsPerform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording inventories and related costsPerform duties related to period close activitiesGenerate and analyze reports detailing inventory, production and costing detailsUnderstand expense accounts and cost centersOther duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneLanguage SkillsMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the language of the majority cultural group in order to communicate effectively.
