Staff Accountant

Position Overview: Valley Corp is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to support a dual role in daily accounting operations and front office functions. This position plays an important role in accounts payable, accounts receivable, trucking invoice support, customer billing, and reception/scale operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable supporting both accounting and operational office needs. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Monitor AP email inbox and route invoices to the appropriate project manager Enter invoices into Sage 100 Contractor accurately and timely Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors Request invoices and statements from vendors as needed Assist with invoice selection and payment processing Prepare and mail vendor payments Monitor vendor payment portals for invoice activity and payments, and distribute information to the appropriate team members Trucking Support Code corresponding invoices Verify billing amounts align with established pricing Accounts Receivable Review deposits and cash receipts Process customer billing Apply customer payments accurately Reception / Scale Support Greet customers, vendors, and employees Answer and transfer phone calls Manage scale operations and complete transactions efficiently Why Join Valley Corporation Competitive wages and profit sharing.
